Barbecue Beef Short Ribs

3 1/2 pounds of beef short ribs
1 tbsp of vegetable oil
1 chopped onion
4 peeled halved potatoes
4 chopped carrots
1 cup of water
1/3 cup of red wine vinegar
1 tbsp of paprika
1/2 tsp of chili powder
1/2 tsp of dry mustard
2 tsp of salt


In a pan, brown ribs in oil and then place in crock pot with onions, potatoes and carrots. In a serperate bowl, mix remaining ingredients and pour over ribs and vegetables. Cook on LOW for 10 hours.
