Corned Beef and Cabbage

2 1/2 pound corned beef brisket
2 sliced onions
1 cup of apple juice
1/2 cup of brown sugar
2 tsp of orange peel
2 tsp of mustard
6 whole cloves
6 cabbage leaves


Place onion slices in the bottom of the crock pot and put corned beef on top. In a bowl, combine apple juice, sugar, orange peel, cloves and mustard and then pour over brisket. Arrange cabbage wedges on top of brisket. Cook on LOW for 10 hours or on HIGH for 5 hours.
